In case you couldn’t tell, Minnesota Cuke and the Search for Samson’s Hairbrush is a knockoff of Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade.  In this video, Minnesota Cuke (Larry) is searching for the lost hairbrush of Samson, which is supposed to have special powers.  His search is challenged by a bully, Professor Rattan, who wants the hairbrush for himself.  Minnesota must decide if he is going to take the high road, or seek revenge on Rattan and act like a bully himself.  There is the usual silly VeggieTales humor, and many elements of the video are direct spinoffs of the Indiana Jones movie.

Personally, I didn’t find the video all that entertaining.  The anti-bullying message is lost in the complicated story line.  It’s another VeggieTales spoof that adults will understand, but the references to Indiana Jones will be lost on the kids.  So…it’s okay for entertainment reasons, but probably not a great teaching resource.  Sorry!
