We’re doing a series on the Armor of God, starting with the belt of truth. As our craft we made these simple belts. The verses we wrote on the belt sections were Psalm 109:19, John 8:32, John 14:6, and John 17:17. We cut a piece of sturdy ribbon long enough to be tied around the child’s waist, and they stapled the Bible verses on in the center. Tie it around their waist and you’re done.
Depending on the ages of the kids, you could have them look up all the verses themselves, have an older child write for them, or type the verses on sheets of paper to be handed around and copied. Below is a template of the belt pieces to write the verses on.
