DiscipleLand has a nice little tip sheet to help give you ideas on ways you can invigorate your volunteers. The tips are concise, but give you very good jumping-off points to make progress in a particular area. The one I need to remember is to expect people to say yes. When I approach people to ask if they’d be willing to volunteer, I feel like I’m asking them to fly to the moon. I’m sure they see the guilt in my eyes and my expectation that they’ll say no. How depressing am I today??
