Okay, I think this is our last out-of-season Halloween post! These little spider pizzas are a bit finicky to make, but lots of fun to eat! They would be great if you’re doing some kind of fall outreach with families, when you have a little more time for involved activities like this one. Ingredients: English […]
Monster Soda Floats
This post contains an affiliate link. My kids and I had a blast creating the cups for the our Monster Floats on Halloween! I originally saw the idea on Pinterest. I suggest figuring out the layout of the face before gluing anything on, as it’s really hard to re-position once the glue is on there. […]
Mandarin Jack-‘o-Lantern
My kids and I made some fun treats for Halloween, but I’m just now getting around to sharing them. My favorite was this tiny jack-‘o-lantern made by simply drawing a face on an upside down clementine / mandarin / Halo / Cutie (whatever you want to call it). I tried using both a regular Sharpie […]
Graveyard Cake
This post contains an affiliate link. My son requested that we make this totally tubular Graveyard Cake from the Betty Crocker Halloween Cookbook. It would be excellent for any kind of fall gathering or potluck! The thing I like best about this type of cake is that it doesn’t depend on stellar frosting skills. As […]
Balloons – Jack-o’-lantern
This balloon Jack-o’-lantern is easy to make using a dipped bee body. You can purchase pre-dipped ones so that you don’t have to make your own like the guy in this video does. Then use a Sharpie to draw the face on.
Face Paint – Jack-o’-Lantern
I really like how this Jack-o’-Lantern turned out. It’s good for fall without being too scary.
